The new series of Big Brother is proving interesting. The producers have decided to stir it up by segregating the group into 'rich' and 'poor' sides. Hopefully this will accentuate the conflict that is already brewing between some of the contestants. However it's unfortunate that many of them are so unrelentingly dull. Brian Sewell has written a scathing article on the housmates describing them as "post-adolescent dolts inclined to squalor, selfish in impulse, sex-obsessed, with no sense of community, no manners and, to put it bluntly, irredeemably common or worse". Great stuff.
